KALE CHIPS

If you don’t love kale, here’s a recipe you’re sure to love! Not only is kale one of the most nutrient-dense foods out there, but topped with nutritional yeast, this recipe covers all the bases! Nutritional yeast has a cheesy umami flavor, and it adds all 9 essential amino acids, protein, Vitamin B-12, folate, and many other vitamins and minerals. Plus, it’s totally vegan!!

INGREDIENTS:
-1 bunch kale (or about 6 cups of pre-chopped kale)
-1 tbsp olive oil
-a pinch of garlic powder
-a pinch of salt
+ nutritional yeast!

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350*F
2. Massage kale with olive oil for a minute or so.
3. Lay kale out onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt, garlic, and nutritional yeast. 
4. Bake for 12 minutes (or until crispy).
